Son of a Forester:

We are very pleased to announce that Peter Love has joined Pilot Law as a Colleague – his biography can be found here.

Peter grew up in the forestry world. His father Dave Love was a Professor of Forestry at the University of Toronto throughout his career and the forestry business took the family to Venezuela and Malaysia among other places. A noted writer and commentator, Peter is the author of Renewing our Renewable Forest Resource: The Legislative Framework in the Dalhousie Law Journal.  He has also published opinion pieces and letters in the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and other periodicals. Peter has owned and reforested lands in Ontario and has stated that his favourite recreational pastime is splitting wood – and with an axe, not with a mechanical wood splitter.
